headpieces by japanese hair stylist katsuya kamo made entirely from paper for the chanel couture s/s 2009 show. miraculously, kamo only spent a mere three weeks in preparation for the couture show creating 65 headpieces and over an estimated 7000 flowers for the decorations and embellishments for the entire show made from sheets of paper. unlike the garment and gowns designed by karl lagerfeld that sell upwards of hundreds of thousands, katusya kamo’s headpieces remained not for sale to the select 200 few that can afford haute couture.
